Life of Amish


Amish was born and did his schooling from Rourkela, Odisha. He joined St. Xaviers College, Mumbai and later IIM, Calcutta for further studies. After completing his MBA, he worked for 14 years with various financial institutions. Now, he is a full time writer.

You may be surprised to note that it was Amish’ wife Preety Vyas who was the driving force behind his Shiva Triology. In fact, Preety suggested Amish to quit his career as a banker and become a full time writer. She also goaded her to not think about writing books as a marketing project, but to surrender with the demand as well as the flow of the story line.

Preety is also marketing force behind The Shiva Triology. The couple have a son named Neel.
