Uma Bharti: Boyfriend, Marriage, and Husband
Uma Bharti is
the firebrand leader of the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP). She came into light in
1975, when at the age of 16 she was proclaimed as a Sadhvi. It was surprising
how a young girl whose family didn’t had means to even buy her a book can
recite the entire Bhagvatgita and Ramayana. She was quite affluent in Hindi and
Sanskrit.
Personal Life of Uma Bharti
After becoming a
Sadhvi, Uma left home and started to wander around India with other saints and
sadhvis. She came in contact with RSS leaders and started to propagate RSS
ideologies.
During that
time, she came in contact with Mr. Govindacharya, who was also an RSS pracharak
and a very sharp minded person. They started to work for RSS and soon they were
in love.
Marriage of Uma Bharti
As you might
know, Uma Bharti is unmarried. Actually, she wanted to get married with
Govindacharya. In fact, they had got the permission of L K Advani. However,
when Uma contacted RSS for permission, it was denied.
RSS senior
functionary Baburao Devras asked Uma to desert the idea of getting married. He
told her that she has got a gifted mind and it is better to use it for the
service of the nation. Getting married may lead to diversion of her potential.
When Uma shared
this news to Govindacharya, he accepted.
Govindacharya
also remained bachelor.
Boyfriend of Uma Bharti
In an interview,
Uma Bharti had said that she had crush for many men. It was just around the
days when she was being declared as a Sadhvi. After becoming a Sadhvi, she
never thought about any men. It was only Govindacharya who came to her life few
years later.
The relationship
between Govndacharya and Uma Bharti remained intact. In fact, when Uma Bharti
had become the CM of Madhya Pradesh, Govindacharya was a regular visitor to the
CM house at Shyamala Hills, Bhopal. He used to stay there. However, they always
made it sure to keep their personal relationship away from media.
