Rajballabh Prasad Yadav, Nawada: Profile and Wife

Rajbhallabh Prasad Yadav is considered as the first family of Nawada town in Bihar. It is because of his family’s hold in the political circles of the district headquarter. As a matter of fact, he was decimated by his political rival Kaushal Yadav, but that doesn’t lower down his influence.

UPDATE: On 13th of Feb, 2016, Rajballabh Yadav has been accused by raping a minor girl. Prima facie, the Bihar Police has found truth in this allegation and arrest order has been issued for him.

A politician and businessman

Rajballabh Prasad Yadav might be known publicly as a politician. However, that is not the complete picture. He is also a successful businessman. In the recently concluded auction for all hills of Nawada district, he succeeded hands down. Even Surajbhan Singh could not match his quotation. 

Crime Profile

There is no denying that Rajballabh Prasad has a criminal profile. During Lalu Raj, he was against Bhumihar. However, recently he has become a close friend of Bhumihar leader of district Akhilesh Singh. Local says that he was compelled to take the protection of Akhilesh Singh because of rising profile of Kaushal Yadav.

A Trusted Allies of Lalu Yadav

Kaushal Yadav had won two seats in Nawada district on JDU ticket. This time people were expecting Kaushal Yadav to not leave Nawada seat for Rajballabh Prasad. It is because of the alliance of JDU-RJD. He was ready to quit Govindpur. Nawada is the headquarter seat and being an MLA means a lot from here. However, Lalu Yadav compelled Nitish Kumar to quit Nawada seat for Kaushal, who is shifted to Hisua (where his defeat is certain). There is no denying that Rajballabh Prasad is going to win comfortably from Nawada because Yadav and Bhumihar are going to support him.

Political Family

Rajballabh is son of Dr. Jehal Yadav. His father is a well-known personality of Nawada. He was a prominent figure of Nawada even before Lalu came into the picture. His elder brother Dr. Krishna Yadav had won the seat as a BJP candidate, but later ditched the party in favor of RJD. Krishna Yadav was quite popular in Nawada. However, unfortunately, he died and Rajballabh became his heir.

In a Rape Case

Rajballabh Yadav brother Vinod Yadav was alleged to be involved in the sad Galaxy Rape Scandal of Nawada. That was quite unfortunate. It is quite sad that people of Nawada just think on the line of their caste. They don’t think about the girl who was brutally raped by some men while she was in the town for Class X examination. Alas! Media was not there like Nirbhaya case.
