Eligibility Criteria for TCS Freshers Job

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is the biggest company of India as per market capitalization. It is valued at more than 5 lakhs Crores. Tata Group had never thought that TCS will become the most precious of plethora of companies that the group is running. TCS has also become the most preferred destinations for Indian engineering students.

The eligibility criteria of joining TCS for freshers are relatively simpler than that of Infosys. This article is an attempt to compile all necessary criteria that you need to have before joining TCS:

1. You need to have more than 60 % marks throughout your career – from matriculation to graduation (or till MCA). If at any stage you have scored less than this level, your application will be rejected by the TCS. Please be aware that this requirement is only for entry level software engineers. Even if you have scored less than this level at any stage, you can still join TCS after getting minimum 2 year experience. They have used this criteria just to ensure that number of applicants remain under check.

2. Academic Gap: TCS will not accept your application if you have academic gap of more than one year at any stage of life. It means to say that if you have just one year gap, you may apply for TCS freshers job. Many students dropped out after completing 12th examination in the hope of finding a better engineering college. Needless to mention here that even if you have more than one year gap, you can still join TCS after getting experience of 2 years.

Apart from these two above mentioned requirements, TCS doesn’t ask for anything else. If you feel that you are eligible, just visit their website and register yourself. If they had not visited your college for campus recruitment, or if you have not been interviewed since last six months by them, then they may call you for written examination.

Best of Luck!!!
