Ashok Mahto: Nawada Criminal, Profile





Ashok Mahto is one of the most notorious criminals of Bihar. He is known to ruthlessly killing children and women. He used to choose his targets just on the basis of caste.


Ashok Mahto was a pick pocket in 1990s in Sheikhpura. Later, he became a driver. However, he became a killer when some Bhumihar attacked his villagers. He killed them.


At that time, the administration was trying to contain the rising popularity of AkhileshSingh , who was like a robin hood to farmers. The administration found Ashok Mahto a way to check the growth of Akhilesh Singh. Unfortunately, the administration was successful and that is how Ashok Mahto became a criminal.


He was also involved in various massacres in Nawada and Nalanda, along with the famous Nawada Jail Break Episode.


However, when the administration in Bihar changed, everything got changed. Police caught him in Jharkhand where he was hiding in a hut. The coward Ashok Mahto was brought to Sheikhpura and paraded in the town.


Currently, he is in Jail in Nawada.
